The purpose of this document is to configure the local and remote starting frequency inverter.

Introduction

To control the process or machines, frequency inverters are used. It is very common to use remote and local controls, as this brings greater flexibility to the operation of the process, being able to connect the inverter in two different ways.

The function of the inverter in remote mode is generally used when the drive starts from a controller or operation away from the inverter.

The function of the inverter in local mode is generally used to drive close to the inverter, and it can be carried out in the inverter's HMI itself or through external pushbuttons.

As a rule, it does not need to be carried out only in the ways described above, because the Delta inverter allows a wide flexibility of operations and can be configured through the parameters referring to these functions.

  1. In the inverter's HMI, the user will be able to view data such as control frequency, current, voltage, turn on and off, change the direction of rotation or access parameter group, inverter language, back up parameters among other functions that can be accessed through the HMI , below shows the illustrative image of how to access the parameter group.

The parameters menu of the inverter is divided into Group and Parameters, the first being the group following the various parameters that exist within each group.

Example: P00-00, the arrows indicate the Group in orange and blue indicates the Parameter.

Settings

Below is the sequence of parameters for configuring the attacker in remote and local mode:

       1. Reset to factory defaults:

P00-02 - Factory reset at 60Hz - P0-02 = 10.

       2. Group 5 Motor board settings:

P05-01 - Motor rated current (A).

P05-02 - Motor power (kW).

P05-03 - Motor Speed (RPM):

P05-04 - Number of Motor Poles:


3. Control method settings:

P00-10 - Inverter Control Method P00-10 = 0

 

P00-29 - Selection of control method P00-29 = 0

 

P02-XX - Selection of any input to change from remote / local P02-XX = 56

 

4. Remote control method settings:

 

P00-20 - Command frequency method P00-20 = 2

P00-21 - Command Operation Method P00-21 = 1
